Review: David Baldacci The Escape

The name of the book is very apt for the story that it enfolds.  The main protagonists John Puller who is a Military CID investigator has been given a case that he cannot refute. His brothers escape from a secure prison. What enfolds are the twists and turns in this story

A story revolving around one brothers escape and fight for justice and the other brothers search for the truth. John Puller heart of heart knows that his brother is innocent and is searching for a way to prove just that. But his brothers escape from prison has made people in the Army think that he was indeed guilty.

But destiny was on their side and they both manage to dig deeper into the mystery trying to unravel the truth. This just turns out to be a  dangerous game. Pullers partner Knox turns to the aid of Puller in solving this mystery.

A fight to search for the truth turns out to be a national security issue once the truth comes to light.

Its a great read. Keeps you glued till the end. The plot is great. However the end when they show Knox and Puller leave it feels incomplete. I wish there was a better end to that angle of the story
